Dr. Lamar Quinn
Executive Director & President
Visionary and philanthropist, Dr. Lamar T. Quinn is the co-founder and executive director of Toast for Charity (TFC), a 501(c)(3) organization of black young professionals who galvanize around a mutual effort to affect change within the Southern Dallas community. The organization boasts its best development season yet, raising over $30K in Q4 of 2021 to benefit its burgeoning Emerging Difference-Makers Scholarship Program.
A native of Chicago’s Southside, Lamar is a graduate of Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, where in 2007, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He would continue his studies at The University of Illinois-Chicago, where he obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2011. He is currently employed at Village Lane Pharmacy, continuing his focus on providing quality and specialized healthcare.
Recently, Lamar made his entrepreneurial “debut” with his wife, Lauren, by launching Love You Most, a slate of elevated, curated events that highlight and celebrate Black love experiences, and Make A 360°, a 360° camera company specializing in “creating experiences” and “capturing moments.” In addition, Lamar is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce.
A consistently busy family life and work schedule won’t permit much free time; however, Lamar finds moments to indulge in reading, running, skeet shooting, watching sports, and building community. He’s adopted an #alloffense mentality that keeps his focus beyond survival but on thriving and creating.
He and Lauren (co-founder of TFC) are the proud parents of three sons, Jaxon Tyrell (age 5), Jai Tatum (age 2), and Jamison Trace (age 1).
