Jalyn Roberson

Scholarship

Jalyn Roberson is a native of Port Arthur, TX, and is a wife, mom, higher education professional, and entrepreneur. She earned a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit Management from Texas Southern University. Jalyn has worked in higher education for over 10 years and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Operations at the Dallas College Foundation. In 2016, she launched a boutique travel planning agency, Jaunts and Gems, where she plans group and individual travel. Jalyn and her husband, Marcus, have two daughters, Marlowe and Jules, with whom they enjoy spending time. In her free time, Jalyn enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
